DownloadAttendance Policy:
In order to receive credit for the entire course, 100% attendance is required. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each session, and no exceptions will be allowed. Any missed hours must be made up in another class within 6 months from the original registration date. Please contact our office to make the necessary arrangements.
Refund or Transfer Policy:
Full refunds will be issued only if cancellation is received in writing at least 10 full days prior to the original registered class. If a student reschedules from their original registration course and subsequently cancels, the 10-day notification is based on the original registered course. A full credit will be given and transferred to the rescheduled course for a maximum of 6 months from the original registered course. After 6 months, the registration fee is forfeited. "No shows" on the class date are not eligible for refunds. A $25.00 processing fee will be charged for any transfer requests.
Testing Policy:
If an exit exam is required to receive credit, it will be administered during the class time. A grade of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam. If a student fails to achieve the required grade, one make-up examination will be allowed within 6 months of the original scheduled exam date. Failure to schedule the make-up exam within the specified time frame will result in forfeiting the chance to retake the exam. Cheating is not tolerated, and any student found cheating will forfeit their ability to take the exam. Per SC State Law, students are entitled to two opportunities to pass the class exam per tuition.
Payment Plans:
Upon request, we will consider payment arrangements. All payment arrangements must be made in person at our office. Please note that testing will not be allowed until the balance has been paid in full, and certificates of completion will not be issued until all payments have been made.
Certificate:
Upon successful completion of the course, SC Real Estate Academy will issue a Certificate of Completion to each student. The student's information will be maintained in accordance with the rules of the Department of LLR. It is recommended that you make a copy of your certificate for your own records before sending it to the state. Duplicate certificate requests will incur a fee of $10.00 per certificate.
Cancellation:
We reserve the right to cancel a course if the minimum number of students is not met. In case of cancellation or rescheduling due to an emergency, we will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible. In such cases, students will be given the option of a full refund or transfer.
**Our courses are open to anyone over the age of eighteen, regardless of race, color, gender, age, national origin, familial status, religion, sexual orientation, or handicap. If you require any accommodations, please contact us as soon as possible.
