South Carolina Continuing Education Requirements

Renewal Deadline: June 30 every two years
Total Required: 10 hours

Active Associate and Broker Licensees

• 4 hours of the mandatory core course
• 6 hours of approved elective courses

Active Broker in Charge Licensees

• 4 hours of the mandatory core course
• 4 hours of the mandatory Broker in Charge course
• 2 hours of approved elective courses

South Carolina active associate, broker, and Broker in Charge licenses require 10 hours of Commission approved continuing education during each two year renewal cycle. Requirements and exemptions may vary, so licensees should confirm their individual records through CE Broker and review the latest information from the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
